Dean's Excellence Fund

The Conroy Honors College appreciates your support this Giving Tuesday. This year, Honors is specifically looking to increase donations to two specific funds:

Your donation to the Honors College Dean’s Excellence Fund ensures that students are better able to engage with our enrichment activities (special speakers in the Conroy Center, research with faculty, study abroad opportunities, expenses for service learning projects) ensuring that financial need is not a barrier to student participation. Our hope is that these experiences open our students’ eyes to a bigger world of opportunities and elevates their aspirations – helping them to become change agents at both the community level and on the world stage!  

Robert Gallegos Scholarship

This year, the NMSU community lost a valued scholar and leader with the death of Dr. Robert Gallegos. In recognition of Dr. Gallegos commitment to the educational achievement of students from the underserved NM community where he began his educational career, Dr. Anne Gallegos is working with Honors to fund an endowed scholarship in his name. We want to recognize the contributions Dr. Gallegos has made to the students of New Mexico and New Mexico State University and appreciate your support for helping to establish this fund.
